Course Program
- Tourist Route Planner – learning how to plan and organize tourist routes, orienteering on the terrain, studying tourist maps and compasses.
- Geography of tourism – studying tourist objects and sights of different regions, peculiarities of their climate, natural conditions and culture.
- Ecology of tourism – studying ecological problems of tourism, rules of behavior in the nature, methods of ecological tourism and ecotourism.
- Culturology of tourism – the study of cultural features and traditions of different nations, the study of the history and art of places visited by tourists.
- Active tourism – the study of the specifics of active recreation in nature, including mountain hiking, rafting, canoeing, horseback riding and other types of active recreation.
- Tourist service – studying the rules and norms of tourist service, organization of accommodation, meals and transportation of tourists.
- International Tourism – study of international standards and rules of tourism, peculiarities of international tourist infrastructure and marketing in tourism.
- Tourism Business – studying the basics of entrepreneurship in tourism, development and promotion of tourism products, creating business plans and finding funding for tourism projects.

Week 7 – 9:

- Internships in travel companies or in the travel industry.
Each week includes theoretical lectures as well as practical activities, such as participation in excursions and hikes, developing itineraries, and conducting tourist surveys. There will also be meetings with guests – representatives of travel companies, guides and tourists.
